A great office isn't just a design choice

Good people notice good spaces. From the first interview to the hundredth Monday morning, their surroundings shape how they feel about the job. A considered workplace helps you stand out to the talent you want to attract and gives your current team a space they actually enjoy. We design greenery that does more than look good in photos. It softens busy areas, creates quiet spots to pause and reset, and turns the office into a place people want to be.

It's also a powerful
recruitment tool.

Before a candidate says yes, they've already walked through your office and decided how it feels. Greenery helps that first impression land, then keeps showing up in team photos, careers pages and everyday life at work. Here's where it counts.
Candidate Tours
First impressions happen in the lobby and breakout spaces, where greenery does the most work.
Day One
New hires form an opinion of the culture on their first walk-through, before anyone tells them what the culture is.
Employer Brand
A considered, green workplace photographs well for careers pages and social recruiting, without a separate content shoot.
Visible Care
Greenery is one of the most visible, hardest-to-fake signals that you're investing in where your people actually spend their day.
Stale Space
Beige walls and tired fit-outs read as neglect, even when nothing else has changed. Bringing life back into the space changes how it feels to walk into, before anything else does.
Daily Culture
Culture isn't only what gets said in an all-hands, it's what people walk past every day. A space that feels alive keeps reinforcing it.

It's also how you show
your team you care.

A flat culture doesn't always need a big initiative, sometimes it just needs the space to feel different again. Greenery is one of the fastest, most visible ways to breathe life back into a workplace that's gone stale, and it tells your team you're paying attention without you having to say a word.

"We had a great experience with the Outside In team. We wanted maximum impact on minimum budget, and they helped us to deliver a very impressive (very lush!) interior planting scheme for our HQ that all our visitors comment on. They are easy to work with, attentive, have a great range of products, and we could not recommend them more highly."

What if your workplace looked after your people?

Our guide explores how greenery helps people feel calmer, more focused and more connected to where they work, and what that could look like in your space.

How do I justify this to finance?

It's billed as an operating cost, not a capital purchase, with a fixed-price quote agreed upfront, so there's no capex approval or budget surprises to navigate.

Do we have to buy the plants, or can we rent?

You can do either. Most teams rent so it's billed as an ongoing cost rather than a big upfront spend, but buying outright is available too.

Will this actually help with recruitment?

It helps candidates form a first impression before they've read a single values statement, and gives current staff something to show off without being asked. It's not the only lever, but it's one of the cheapest and most visible.

How much ongoing work is this for me?

Very little - we maintain and guarantee the plants, so it's not another thing added to your plate.

Can we start small and expand later?

Yes, plenty of teams start with one floor or one space and expand once they see it working.

Where do these stats actually come from?

Independent, peer-reviewed research - happy to share the sources on request, not just internal figures.
