A softer, more natural atmosphere
Throughout the Buddle Findlay workplace in Christchurch, greenery was used to complement the refined architectural palette and introduce a more natural atmosphere. Planting works alongside curved forms, textured finishes and warm lighting to create a workplace that feels calm, welcoming and carefully considered. Integrated greenery adds movement and depth throughout the shared spaces while maintaining the clean aesthetic of the interior.
Suspended greenery, upward gaze
Suspended greenery within the stair and circulation spaces creates moments of visual connection throughout the workplace. Cascading planting introduces softness and scale within the double-height architectural features, drawing the eye upward and adding a sense of movement through the interior.
A restrained planting palette of layered tropical species and integrated planters creates texture and variation while remaining cohesive with the surrounding architecture. Sculptural planting moments throughout reception and communal spaces provide focal points without overwhelming the interior, enhancing the identity of the workplace while contributing to a more refined and connected environment.
