A green backdrop for a new headquarters

When Goodman Fielder consolidated its Auckland operations into a single new headquarters at 8 Nelson Street, Outside In was engaged to bring the fit-out to life with planting throughout reception, breakout areas and meeting spaces. Floor-to-ceiling glazing looks out over the Waitematā Harbour and Sky Tower, and greenery was used to soften the building's dark, architectural palette of oxide-red steel and warm timber without ever competing with the view.

Kentia palms and Ficus anchor the breakout dining areas alongside colourful bistro tables, while smaller meeting pods and glass-walled rooms are framed by potted palms and trailing foliage, creating a sense of privacy and calm without sacrificing natural light.
