Calm within a secure setting

Located within SecuritEase's new Wellington headquarters, the planting design complements Design Group Stapleton Elliott's sophisticated material palette of tile, stone and timber. Thoughtful greenery softens the architecture, enhancing focus, wellbeing and connection in a space designed for collaboration and calm. Every detail was refined in close collaboration with DGSE, with planting strategically placed to invite movement, define zones and soften light while maintaining sightlines to exterior views.

A hybrid planting approach

Curved tiled planters and overhead ring planters mirror the architecture's organic flow, integrating lighting and greenery as one cohesive design language. A handcrafted moss logo acts as a living expression of SecuritEase's identity, providing a distinctive focal point for visitors and staff alike.

To achieve a lush, enduring result, we developed a hybrid planting system combining live, preserved and artificial species. Live plants were chosen for resilience and low water demand, while preserved and artificial greenery ensures consistent vibrancy in low-light or high-traffic areas. Together, they form a sustainable, low-maintenance environment that remains fresh year-round.
