Greenery as a finishing touch
Blum New Zealand's showroom is a premium space for an international kitchen and furniture hardware brand, and the brief was deliberately restrained. Considered greenery that felt like part of the fit-out, not an addition to it.
Tall ficus trees and kentia palms bring vertical presence beneath lofty ceilings, underplanted for fullness from day one. Across the display shelving, small accent plantings in organic-toned pots extend greenery into the product displays, so plants and product feel styled together.
Designed to improve with time
Warm corten and soft concrete planters in cylinder and bevelled forms tie directly to the showroom's material palette. Nothing competes with the product on show - it all reads as one cohesive scheme.
Floor-to-ceiling glazing means excellent natural light, and every species was chosen to thrive in it. The feature trees will become fuller and more impressive season on season. For a showroom built around lasting quality, the greenery is designed to match.
